1. Who these terms are with
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are between you and INFOHAS Electronics LTD, a company registered in Ireland ("INFOHAS", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the INFOHAS website (new.infohas.ie), the booking flow, the customer dashboard, and any related digital surface we operate.
Repair work itself is also subject to our Repair Terms — see /repair-terms/.
2. Using the website
You may browse the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- attempt to bypass authentication, rate limiting or security controls;
- scrape the catalogue at machine speed (we publish a sitemap for legitimate indexing);
- use the service to send unlawful, abusive or misleading content;
- impersonate another person or business.
3. Information shown on the site
Information on the website — including device compatibility, fault descriptions, repair times and prices — is indicative and prepared in good faith. Until a final repair quote is issued, all prices are estimates and subject to:
- confirmation after diagnostic inspection of the actual device;
- availability of compatible parts and turnaround time;
- changes in supplier pricing beyond our reasonable control.
Where a fixed price is shown for a specific repair tier, that price remains valid for the stated period unless we explicitly tell you it has changed before you authorise the repair.
4. Bookings and authorisation
Submitting a booking is a request to be diagnosed and quoted — not an unconditional contract for repair. The repair contract is formed only when:
- we have inspected the device,
- communicated the final quote to you, and
- you have explicitly authorised us to proceed (in writing, via the dashboard, by reply to our email, or in person).
You may cancel before authorising; an administration or diagnostic fee may apply only where this is disclosed up-front.
5. Your account
You access the customer dashboard via a magic-link sent to your email or via Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. Magic links are short-lived and single-use; do not share them.
6. Responsibilities
Yours:
- Provide accurate contact and device details.
- Back up your device before drop-off or shipping. We will treat device data with care, but we are not a backup service.
- Remove SIM, SD cards or accessories you wish to keep, unless we specifically ask for them.
- Disable activation locks or provide credentials we need to test the repair — we cannot complete certain repairs without this.
Ours:
- Perform repairs with reasonable skill and care.
- Communicate fairly and on time about progress and changes.
- Honour warranties on the repairs we perform — see /repair-terms/.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our total liability in connection with the website or any single repair is limited to the amount you paid to us for that repair.
8. Intellectual property
The website design, text, photographs and software are owned by INFOHAS or our licensors. You may not reproduce material from the website except for personal reference. Device brands and product names belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the devices we repair.
9. Privacy
Your personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy (/privacy/). Cookies and similar technologies are covered in our Cookie Policy (/cookies/).
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms when the service changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows the latest revision. Material changes are notified through the website. Continuing to use the service after a change indicates acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. Where you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of mandatory rights granted by the law of your country of residence.
12. Contact
Reach us through your repair request, your customer dashboard, or via the contact methods published on the INFOHAS website.
